- Adecco's client is a highly reputable financial institution in Vietnam is actively seeking for highly qualified and responsible candidates to fill in position Data Governance Manager for it's headquarter based in center Hanoi.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide data governance framework, policies, and standards.
- Define roles and responsibilities for data owners, stewards, and custodians to support data management and accountability.
- Establish processes for data lifecycle management, data quality, and metadata.
- Develop and monitor data quality metrics, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
- Lead initiatives to remediate data quality issues across business units.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, Basel standards, and data privacy laws.
- Build and maintain an enterprise-wide data dictionary and business glossary.
- Ensure documentation of data lineage, definitions, and standards to promote consistency and transparency.
- Facilitate data governance council/committee meetings, engaging stakeholders from IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business Units.
- Review and approve data-related aspects of IT and digital transformation projects.
- Support the transition from application-centric to data-centric operating models.
- Lead and mentor a team of data governance specialists and stewards.
- Drive adoption of data governance policies across business lines, promoting a strong data-driven culture.
- Collaborate with business leaders to embed data governance practices into daily operations.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in information management, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in data management, risk data, or data governance, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, metadata management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Basel II/III data requirements, local regulations, and international data governance best practices.
- Familiarity with data platforms, BI tools, and governance technologies is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP, DGSP) are advantageous.
