An exciting and newly created Assistant Finance Manager role based in HCMC awaits you at a multinational sports apparel company. You will be entrusted with playing a pivotal role in supporting and assisting the Finance Manager with the financial operations and strategies of the organization.Financial Reporting:

Drive accurate monthly Opex reporting, comparing actual performance against budgeted targets.
Lead monthly closings, overseeing accruals, prepaid expenses, and provisions for expenses.
Ensure timely submission of monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting with commentary.

Accounting Management:

Ensure strict adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and the authorization matrix for accounts payable, collections, employee advances, and claims.
Maintain an efficient and compliant payments process in line with company policies, procedures, and BIR requirements to prevent tax leakage.

Inventory Controls:

Conduct meticulous stock counts and bolster controls on importation tracking and freight cost tracking. Proactively manage inventory risk to maintain optimal levels and minimize exposure.
Drive reconciliations between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP systems.

Tax Reporting and Compliance:

Ensure punctual and compliant filing and payment of tax returns.
Collaborate closely with consultants and tax authorities during audits.
Coordinate the completion of the annual audit with external auditors.

Leadership Development:

Lead or actively participate in ad hoc projects aimed at continuous improvement within the Finance Department.
Drive enhancements to SAP systems, Zoho, and other financial tools to streamline processes and boost efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
Over 10 years of Finance and Accounting experience, ideally in Audit Firms and MNCs, with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Excellent leadership abilities, adept at team training and management.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to cultivate positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
Passionate, motivated, logical, able to handle stress, and strong teamwork abilities.
