Our client is a global footwear manufacturer.R&D & Formulation DevelopmentLead the development and optimization of PU foam formulations (MDI/TDI systems) for various applicationsDesign and develop new foam materials to meet performance, durability, and comfort requirements in footwearAdapt and transfer foam technologies from other industries into footwear applicationsProduct Development & InnovationDrive new product development from concept, prototyping to commercializationExplore new raw materials, chemicals, and technologies to enhance foam properties (e.g., cushioning, rebound, lightweight, durability)Continuously improve existing products for cost efficiency and performanceTesting & ValidationOversee lab testing and validation (physical, mechanical, chemical properties)Ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements (ASTM, ISO, etc.)Analyze test results and implement improvements accordinglyCross-functional CollaborationWork closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth product industrializationSupport troubleshooting of technical issues during mass productionCollaborate with customers/brands to co-develop and customize foam solutionsTeam LeadershipBuild, lead, and develop the R&D teamSet clear goals, KPIs, and development plansFoster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvementBachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field8-12+ years of experience in PU foam development (footwear preferred, but open to mattress, automotive, furniture, etc.)Strong knowledge of PU chemistry, formulation (MDI/TDI), and foam processing technologiesExperience in product development, lab testing, and scaling up to mass productionStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsLeadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teamsGood English communication; experience working in international environments is a plusIf you are keen on the role, please directly contact Ms. Khanh Vy for immediate support via email: khanhvy.nguyen@adecco.com or phone / zalo: 0908609952
