Automation Strategy: Identify automation opportunities; oversee PLC programming, SCADA, and RPA solutions; ensure integration and safety compliance; optimize ROI.
AI & Digital Transformation: Drive AI/ML applications in predictive maintenance, quality, and smart manufacturing; integrate IoT, computer vision, and emerging technologies; align with governance and IT security.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of engineers and technicians; provide training, mentoring, and succession planning; foster a culture of innovation.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Align automation initiatives with business goals; collaborate with IT and operations; manage vendor partnerships and contracts.
Risk Management: Anticipate risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges.Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in automation/manufacturing engineering; 3+ years in project management and people leadership; proven success delivering complex, multinational projects.
Technical Skills: PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.), SCADA/HMI systems, RPA, AI/ML platforms, Python/SQL, ERP/MES integration, data visualization (Power BI).
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and change management.
