Backend Technical Lead (Java)

• Collaborate within small, agile teams with a shared mission and clear ownership of impactful outcomes that support company and its customers.

• Align with cross-functional stakeholders on best practices related to APIs, security, compliance, reliability, and product roadmaps.

• Influence and guide the technical direction of software features and architecture.

• Design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable APIs capable of handling high-volume transactions.

• A pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, etc.).

• 8+ years of experience in software development (strong candidates with less experience are also encouraged to apply).

• 3+ years of experience in Java (other general-purpose programming languages are also welcome).

• Expertise in system design and performance tuning for scalability and reliability.

• Strong skills in database and schema design for large-scale and financial systems.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture or message queue systems.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Background in enterprise architecture.

• Proficiency in English.

• Ability to live and work in Ho Chi Minh City.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with proven hands-on development experience.
