ACG_1901_JOBOur client is a leading insurance company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:In charge of leading the Compliance department to fulfill all functions and duties of the departmentConsult, provide guidance, evaluate, manage, and monitor legal issuesSet out action plan, execute, and manage all compliance issues according to local laws and regulations and shareholders’ requirementsEstablish, review, and consult about internal regulations to ensure legal fulfillmentImplement and manage compliance activities in alignment with shareholders’ requirementsManage compliance violations, work with other departments to investigate compliance issues and propose appropriate solutionsRecognize potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; keep track of the implementation of corrective actions for existing problems and advise on preventive actionsCollaborate with other departments in identifying and responding to competent authorities on investigations or any non-compliance matters raised by competent authoritiesDevelop, monitor, and manage effectively Legal policies, regulations, procedures, and standards, amongst othersUpdate, analyze, and assess the influence of local laws and regulations on company’s operation and provide guidance for involved partiesOrganize effective training and communication program to improve staff’s awareness and understanding of Legal requirementsReview and provide Legal advice on Company business documents and plansWrite, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with involved stakeholdersWork with external law firms and legal teams of shareholders to resolve legal requestExecute and manage the company’s litigation-related matters and activitiesExecute and manage the company’s intellectual property protection related mattersPrepare agent’s contracts and agreements, monitor distribution channel compliance, and carry out training regarding insurance regulations for insurance agentsReport and update the BOD and shareholders on Legal and Compliance related matters on a regular basisIn charge of managing department personnelComplete other tasks assigned by supervisorsRequirementsExcellent understanding of Compliance and Legal regulations, especially in the insurance industryAbility to communicate and present effectivelyGood strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and management skillsClient-centric and result-oriented mindsetFluency in EnglishContact: Hieu NguyenDue to the immense number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
