- Oversee production planning, material control, and scheduling to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Ensure production plans align with customer forecasts, factory capacity, and raw material availability.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and lead‑time optimization.
- Lead purchasing activities, especially aluminum and other key raw materials.
- Develop a reliable supplier base in Vietnam, China, and other sourcing markets.
- Monitor material cost trends, negotiate competitive prices, and secure supply continuity.
- Act as the key liaison between the Vietnam factory, China factory, and US customers.
- Ensure consistent material flow, clear communication, and synchronized production.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to prevent production delays.
- Manage and develop the Budgeting Manager and PMC Manager.
- Provide hands‑on guidance ("hand‑holding") for shopfloor teams with limited English and limited supply‑chain experience.
- Build team capability through structured processes and training.
- Drive process improvement across planning, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse.
- Implement and manage ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and strong adoption.
- Anticipate future operational needs and build scalable processes to support growth.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or purchasing (manufacturing environment).
- Strong experience in production planning (PMC) and procurement.
- Experience working with international stakeholders
- Solid understanding of raw materials-preferably aluminum or electronics/light manufacturing.
- Strong leadership with the ability to coach and guide less‑experienced teams.
- Proactive mindset, strong process orientation, and the ability to anticipate issues before they occur.
