- Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a Business Development Manager based in HCMC
- Support the Firm's Business Development initiatives by identifying new clients and business prospects aligned with the regional strategy, under the guidance of the firm's Partners and Business Development Director.
- Lead meetings with potential clients and existing clients upon identifying new business opportunities, aiming to secure new engagements and gather market insights.
- Provide advisory services to clients in collaboration with the Corporate Advisory Director, including market studies, partner identification, M&A target sourcing, and facilitating meetings, along with preparing client reports and presentations.
- Build a robust local network of business contacts to generate opportunities and referrals for the firm.
- Conduct research, compile intelligence, and disseminate insights internally to aid in targeting, cross-selling, and prioritization efforts, including the identification of new leads and avenues for expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Develop expertise in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, real estate, and healthcare, staying updated on market trends and deal activities to strategically attract and retain clients.
- Participate in client targeting and relationship-building activities like seminars, conferences, and networking events.
- Be prepared for additional tasks beyond those outlined in this document as assigned periodically
- Previous experience in a professional service setting (particularly consulting or investment banking) is preferred, with a demonstrated track record of successful business development, leadership, and strategic planning.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both oral and written, along with the capacity to establish and nurture client relationships, are crucial.
- Proficiency in evaluating business development opportunities and managing budgets is required.
- Self-motivation and dedication to continual self-improvement are essential.
- Experience in M&A and Private Equity transactions is desirable.
- A college degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with a concentration in business, sales, finance, or consulting
