- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies across APAC
- Build and manage a competitive international supplier portfolio
- Establish long-term supplier partnerships and framework agreements
- Drive supplier performance in quality, delivery, and responsiveness
- Deliver cost savings through cost reduction, avoidance, and benchmarking
- Develop and implement structured pricing frameworks and cost models
- Lead supplier negotiations and commercial discussions
- Work closely with Engineering teams to understand technical requirements
- Challenge specifications and propose alternative solutions to improve cost, manufacturability, and supply reliability
- Support design-to-cost and value engineering initiatives
- Collaborate with suppliers on product development and technical optimization
- Identify opportunities for innovation and future product improvements
- Ensure suppliers meet capability, quality, and compliance standards
- Implement dual sourcing and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage supply risks in volatile raw material markets (e.g. metals)
- Ensure supply reliability and business continuity
- Structure, draft, and negotiate supplier agreements (MSAs, framework agreements, pricing models)
- Ensure alignment between commercial terms and operational supply models
- Maintain compliance with internal procurement policies
- Category cost competitiveness (cost reduction, cost avoidance, benchmarking)
- Supplier performance (OTIF, quality, responsiveness, reliability)
- Strength and diversity of supplier portfolio
- Implementation of structured commercial and contractual frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proven experience in category management or strategic sourcing within industrial/manufacturing environments
- Experience working with international suppliers (Asia, China preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of PVF products and industrial piping systems
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and cost structures
- Ability to interpret engineering requirements and propose technical alternatives
- Strong negotiation and commercial capability
- Experience in contract structuring and supplier agreement management
- Strong English communication skills
- Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to balance technical and commercial considerations
