Our client is a globally recognized FMCG corporate, known for its high-quality products and commitment to customer satisfaction.Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing sales within the FMCG sector, specifically in modern trade channels. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with distributors and key retailers, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve targets.Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the Modern Trade channel, in alignment with company objectives and targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key retailers, and other stakeholders in the MT segment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and initiatives to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Monitor sales performance and key metrics, and provide regular reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales plans and promotional activities at the point of sale.
  • Manage pricing and negotiation strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the FMCG sector.
Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 4 years in sales management within the FMCG industry, with a focus on Modern Trade channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights to drive decision-making.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
