HEAD OF OPERATIONS APACResponsibilities:- Lead operations at the Production and Logistics Hub APAC in a general management role with P&L accountability- Represent HQ management, authorities, and other external stakeholders locally- Collaborate with HQ to develop the concept & set-up of operations, then manage and ensure its effective, efficient, and compliant ramp-up as well as its daily operations- Create effective organizational design including definition of job roles, and resource deployment- Drive the hub's further development in line with company values, strategies and targets as well as legal and regulatory requirements- Track and analyze KPIs to measure progress towards company's goals and targets, as well as initiative measures where needed- Work with headquarters to drive flexibility, speed, quality, and customer focus within the operations network, contribute to corporate and func- tional strategy, planning, audit processes and engage in collaborative projects as needed- Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time delivery and short lead times- Oversee all aspects of operations, including production and logistics planning, scheduling, and delivery as well as administrative processes. Ensure product and process quality via implementation of the company quality policy and adherence to the quality management system ISO:9001- Adhere to safety and environmental standards, ensuring adequate processes and measures, reviews. Promote a positive safety culture with a focus on accident prevention- Optimize production processes to improve flexibility, speed, and efficiency. Promote lean management practices- Ensure compliance with all dimensions of the regulatory and legal frameworks- Contribute to upgrading the global supply chain and planning processes- Explore and expand international sourcing activities- Lead a team of direct reports, including the head of assembly, head of logistics, the quality specialist/ inspector and production planning/sourcing specialist- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance, including evaluation of employee performance, to hub employees in their assigned job duties; Develop and lead a motivated and skilled team- Implement a collaborative culture and environment of accountability, professional development, high-performance work, and ethical behavior- Communicate and embody the company vision and values, as well as company policies, procedures, and performance standardsRequirements:- Deep understanding of mechanical/home appliances/ automotive/ electronics manufacturing processes, quality control and compliance with ISO 9001 including the auditing process- 7 years+ experience in production management, leadership in production and business management in amid-size manufacturing enterprise- Experience of ramping-up and/or running production and logistics activities- Sound understanding of logistics business and processes, as well as related administrative procedures- Affinity for designing and improving international planning and supply chain activities, experience in establishing new sourcing opportunities- Strong leadership, guidance, and communication skills, especially decision making, planning, organization, coordination, and implementation- Willingness to travel overseas- Proficient in English and Vietnamese; basic knowledge of German beneficial
