Finance Manager (Freelance)Location: Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamWorkplace Type: RemoteAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Finance Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, focusing on providing comprehensive financial management support to our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, particularly within the context of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) companies, and be proficient in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS). As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and international accounting principles.
Check the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Check all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Manage cash flow and working capital effectively.
Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization.
Experience working with FDI companies, understanding their specific financial reporting requirements.
Prepare financial reports for management and investors

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Proven experience working with FDI companies and a strong understanding of their financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and international accounting principles.
Excellent knowledge of financial reporting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Fluency in English is required.
Experience with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Vietnam.
