You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Sales to ensure that Visa's solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep technical background, strong leadership skills and ability to engage C-Level of clients.Reporting to the Head of Product & VAS, the individual will mainly interact with the digital teams, IT and business teams of our FI & Non-FI clients.Key Responsibilities: * Leadership and Strategy
  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive architectural vision that aligns with Visa's business strategy and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
  • Solution Design and Development:
  • Oversee the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.
  • Ensure that architectural designs meet business requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including product managers, engineering teams, clients, and partners.
  • Act as a key liaison between technology and business teams to ensure seamless integration of new solutions.
  • Present architectural concepts and solutions to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance and Best Practices:
  • Establish and enforce best practices for architecture, including design patterns and performance optimization.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the reliability and security of Visa's solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex technology solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as cloud computing, microservices, APIs, security, and data management.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Experience in the financial services or payments industry is a plus.
