Job summaryOur client is looking for a Master Data Management Specialist to join their company and to continue developing this high performing teamJob ResponsibilitiesAs the Master Data Management Specialist, you will report to Senior IT Solution Service Leader and be responsible for the following:· Creating and updating master data records in various systems and platforms· Performing data analysis and validation to identify and resolve data issues, errors, or discrepancies.· Collaborating with various stakeholders and teams to ensure data alignment and compliance with data standards and policies.· Developing and implementing data governance and quality processes and procedures· Providing data support and guidance to internal and external users· Creating and maintaining data documentation and reports· Monitoring, measuring, and improving the quality, accuracy and security of master data.· Provides expertise and guidance on master data management and MDM solution from best practices· Accountable for managing and maintaining the master data of the company, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and quality. Master data is the core data that is essential for the operations and decision-making of a business, such as customer, product, vendor, or employee data.· Accountable for the data quality, data governance, data security, and data compliance of the master data, as well as the data support and guidance provided to internal and external users.· Accountable for the data-related outcomes and impacts of the projects and tasks they are involved in, such as data migration, integration, or analysis.Experience requirementsv Experience· At least 5 years in Data Management, Oil and Gas experience is plusv Skills· Technicalo Data analysis: The ability to collect, process, and interpret data using various methods and tools.o Data management: The ability to organize, store, and maintain data according to standards and best practices.o Data quality: The ability to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.o Data visualization: The ability to present data in graphical or interactive forms (using tools like Power BI or Tableau is advance).o Data integration: The ability to combine data from different sources and formats (using tools like ETL or APIs is advance).o Data governance: The ability to define and implement data policies, rules, and roles.o Data security: The ability to protect data from unauthorized access, use, or modification.o Experience managing master data (use MDM tool) in difference system including SAP, IBM Maximo (or similar manufacturing execution system)o Strong understanding of SAP Master Data across area: GL account, Cost center, Internal Order, Asset, Customer, Vendor, and Material Master, Service Master.o Knowledge of master data concepts, standards, and best practices· Management and Organizational Skillso Project management: The ability to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close data-related projects, such as data migration, integration, or quality improvement.o Time management: The ability to prioritize, schedule, and complete data-related tasks within deadlines and budgets.o Teamwork: The ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams, such as data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and business users, to ensure data alignment and compliance.o Leadership: The ability to motivate, guide, and support data-related teams and projects, as well as communicate data insights and recommendations to senior management and clients.o Problem-solving: The ability to identify, analyze, and resolve data-related issues, challenges, and risks, as well as implement solutions and improvements.o Change management: The ability to manage and adapt to changing data needs and requirements, as well as facilitate data-related change initiatives and transitions.· Communication and Collaboration skillso Verbal communication: The ability to speak clearly and confidently about data-related topics, such as data standards, policies, and insights, to various audiences, such as data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and business users.o Written communication: The ability to write clearly and concisely about data-related topics, such as data documentation, reports, and proposals, using appropriate formats, styles, and tools, such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.o Listening: The ability to listen actively and attentively to data-related feedback, questions, and requests from various stakeholders and teams, as well as understand their data needs and expectations.o Presentation: The ability to present data-related information and recommendations in a compelling and engaging way, using visual aids, such as charts, graphs, or dashboards, and tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.o Negotiation: The ability to negotiate and persuade data-related decisions and actions, such as data quality, data governance, or data integration, with various stakeholders and teams, as well as resolve data-related conflicts and disagreements.o Cooperation: The ability to cooperate and coordinate with various stakeholders and teams, such as data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and business users, to ensure data alignment and compliance.o Strong written and communication skills in English language.· Problem-Solving Attitudeo Analytical thinking: The ability to break down complex data-related problems into smaller and simpler components and apply logical and systematic methods to solve them.o Creativity: The ability to generate and apply innovative and original ideas to data-related problems, and find alternative or unconventional solutions.o Decision making: The ability to evaluate and compare data-related options and outcomes and choose the best course of action based on data evidence and criteria.o Troubleshooting: The ability to diagnose and fix data-related errors, bugs, or malfunctions, and restore data functionality and quality.o Learning: The ability to learn from data-related experiences and feedback and apply new knowledge and skills to data-related problems.Education requirements· A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field
