- Responsible for operationalizing strategic objectives and the development of corresponding initiatives and programs; Performs a broad set of assignments and duties that align with the purpose, vision values and goals of the organization.
- Collaborates with leaders, governance committees, and process partners to prioritize and lead business initiatives.
- Ensures delivery of business results by meeting or exceeding all service level agreements and managing costs. Set team goals, priorities, organizational structure and hiring plans to ensure processes are delivered according to established service level agreements.
- Uses strong communication and leadership skills to follow up on key objectives and action items to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Prepares for professional interactions and networking by researching, analysing, and interpreting relevant information. Develops professional presentations on corporate initiatives.
- Supports human resource management role and administration functions from induction of new hire'sthrough termination/cessation inclusive of counseling, guidance and policies compliance on associaterelations industrial relations (disciplinary issues) including the conduction of domestic inquiry.
- Works to establish and maintain assigned processes ensuring they are streamlined, efficient, and compliant. Identifies and acts upon ways to improve work processes, enhance quality, productivity, and service levels.
- Stays abreast of the latest developments, best practices and trends in assigned process areas.
- Ensures personnel policies and procedures are administered and communicated in a manner that promotes consistent and equitable treatment of caregivers, recognition, and support of human values in the workplace and harmonious working relationships between all caregivers.
- Monitors human resources programs in terms of meeting objectives and cost effectiveness and prepares periodic reports for leadership as necessary or as requested on the status of human resources activity.
- Ensures the effective communication of all approved Human Resources programs through appropriate management channels and monitors, as required, their implementation, administration, and results.
- Maintains compliance with governmental agencies and regulations, equal opportunity legislation, and appropriate state employment law.
- Accountable for practicing fiscal responsibility by developing realistic annual operating and capital budgets, conserving resources, and monitoring expenditures to ensure they remain within budgeted parameters, prepares annual operating budget and provide monthly variance reporting and oversight.
- Participates in meetings, committees, and continuing education to improve individual, departmental, and organizational performance.
- Using a project management methodology tracks and maintains ongoing status updates on daily operations and special projects for increased communication with the VP/HR and facility leadership.
- Develops departmental plans and objectives in support of the overall strategic plan.
- Responsible for leadership, staff development, financial management, and strategic planning for areas supervised.
- Maintains constant communication with all levels of associates on management-associate related matters through:
- Posting of news/articles at the Staff Bulletin Board
- Organizing of dialogue-sessions between management and associates
- Preparing and distributing of the associate newsletter (Heart-of-house newsletter)
