Unlike traditional real estate sales roles, this position requires a strong understanding of business operations, financial models, and workplace strategy. The role focuses on identifying opportunities where UP's workspace solutions can create value for clients and partners.
The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to develop new projects, structure commercial partnerships, and build long-term relationships with corporate clients.
2. Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for UP's workspace solutions
- Develop relationships with corporate clients, startups, and growing companies seeking flexible office solutions
- Work with internal teams to propose workspace solutions that align with clients' operational needs
- Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements
- Build relationships with:
o developers
o corporate partners
o startup ecosystems
- Identify opportunities for new workspace locations or collaboration models
- Analyze business opportunities from both commercial and operational perspectives
- Evaluate project feasibility, including:
o pricing strategy
o cost structure
o return on investment
- Support the leadership team in structuring partnership or revenue-sharing models
- Monitor trends in:
o workplace strategies
o hybrid working
o flexible workspace industry
- Contribute insights to help UP refine its product positioning and growth strategy
Experience
- 5-10 years experience in one of the following fields:
o corporate strategy
o commercial real estate
o workspace / coworking operations
o consulting or business advisory
Strongly Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in the following areas are highly preferred:
- corporate workplace strategy
- real estate investment or development
- financial analysis of business projects
- Strong business acumen and commercial thinking
- Ability to evaluate opportunities from a business and financial perspective
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
