A global event organisation delivering large-scale international conferences and exhibitions that connect senior stakeholders and drive industry-wide collaboration.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the overall direction and long-term growth strategy of a flagship international education-focused eventOwn end-to-end event delivery, from concept development through execution and post-event evaluationDrive revenue generation across exhibitions, sponsorships, delegate sales, and strategic partnershipsManage the full event budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost disciplineBuild and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, partners, and industry stakeholdersOversee and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team across sales, marketing, operations, and contentProvide regular performance updates, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement actionsGuide content strategy to ensure relevant, high-quality conference programmes and speakersWork closely with marketing teams to strengthen brand positioning, campaigns, and audience growthAct as a senior ambassador for the event, expanding influence, partnerships, and long-term impactJob RequirementsProven senior leadership experience within international exhibitions or large-scale eventsStrong track record of launching, scaling, or revitalising major conferences or trade showsSolid understanding of managing P&L and commercial performanceExperience working with senior external stakeholders, including government or institutional partnersStrong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and close growth opportunitiesExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsConfident leading diverse teams and managing multiple workstreams concurrently
