Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for process design involving review of design output accordance with customer specifications, applicable codes, standards in the design of industrial plants such as petrochemical and oil refineries, heavy industrial plants (Mining, thermal power plant..) and water treatment systems

To be familiar with project specifications, design philosophy for to ensure design outputs (datasheets and drawings, UFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals, etc) to comply with clients’ requirement.
To review and comment process simulations and heat and material balances.
To review and comment process design for reactors, columns, drums, heat exchangers, tanks and develop respective process datasheets.
To review and comment hydraulic design for pumps, compressors, blowers and develop respective process datasheets.
To attend P&ID design reviews, HAZOP, IPF, SIL studies, 3D model reviews.
Prepare Basic, FEED and Detailed Engineering Design complying with project requirement and industry standards.
Perform sizing calculations for Process Equipment and provide information in the form of equipment datasheet
Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal.
Familiar with related vendors, their products and perform technical evaluation on vendor proposal.
To support the Construction Team during construction phase and carry out site checks
To coordinate with Project Team and other Department Engineers to facilitate smooth progress of engineering work.
To support the Commissioning Team during plant or unit startup.
To perform other functions that may be assigned by Department Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5 - 10 years’ of experience in EPC nature of Companies dealing with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, heavy industrial plants (Mining, thermal power plant…). Familiar with Waste Water System, Cooling Water System, Reverse Osmosis System.. is an advantage.
Good knowledge and execution experience in Simulation software such as PRO/II, UniSIM, FlareSim, HYSYS, Aspen, HTRI, etc
Good experience in execution of engineering drawing software (such as Visio, AUTOCAD, 3D Model, Smart Plant, Pipe Flow Expert…) and Microsoft Office.
Familiar with ASTM, API, ASME code and standards.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical information, contracts reports, international codes, and standards.
Possess good technical skills, communication, and presentation skills.
