- Compile and report capital position, capital related information as required by local regulator & Group on a monthly basis
- Perform capital projections for annual budget cycle and assist in developing annual capital plan in alignment with Group's annual capital plan
- Implement approved proposals in the capital plan, if any;
- Implement approved capital raising and optimization plans, if any;
- Assist Head of Finance to engage with business units to project capital requirements on monthly basis, project P&L and BS to manage capital to ensure minimum capital requirement is complied with at all times;
- Monitor and report new regulatory requirements by SBV to Group and assess impact to capital
- Assist in asset & liability optimisation by analysing a spectrum of loan and deposits products including securities and derivatives products.
- Produce and analyse NIM, P&L, Balance Sheet, and ad hoc analytics in support of the various firm initiatives.
- Liaise with various business desk heads and other front office personnel on banking product pricing, innovation and design.
- Promote region-wide fund transfer pricing (FTP) framework and implementation including monthly booking of FTP balance sheet and P&L.
- Assist with assessing interest rate and liquidity risk in the Banking Book.
- Assist with funding and gapping strategies and managing structural liquidity for the bank.
- Mitigate risk through a range of hedge structures including rate derivatives in achieving hedge accounting treatment for the Banking Book.
