OverviewData Intelligence SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Data Intelligence Specialist to join our team.The ideal candidate should have solid data literacy, project management, and communication skills.This exciting role will be a key member of a motivated and high-profile team working on cutting-edge solutions. The candidate should possess strong data processing skills and technical capability. Additionally, the role will eventually manage projects/Deliverables for major multinational clients around the world, for which a knowledge of the digital media industry is an advantage. The candidate should also be comfortable with working with both internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to liaise and present to non-technical stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesData Literacy & Expertise:
- Develop and Manage Reporting Solutions – Design, build, and maintain data dashboards and reports using Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI, leveraging Google BigQuery to extract and visualize marketing data.
- Data Transformation and Analysis – Use Google BigQuery to load, clean, and transform large datasets, supporting digital marketing initiatives by ensuring data accuracy and reliability for campaign tracking and performance measurement.
- Insights Generation – Analyze campaign performance, audience data, and digital channels to generate actionable insights that inform marketing strategies, targeting, and media optimization efforts.
- Proposal and Report Building – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven proposals, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders/clients.
- SQL and Python Data Manipulation – Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from BigQuery, apply Python to automate workflows and conduct advanced analytics.
- Performance Optimization – Monitor and refine BigQuery workflows and queries to improve reporting efficiency and reduce processing time and costs.
- Data Governance and Compliance – Ensure marketing data complies with privacy regulations and data governance policies while maintaining high standards of data integrity and security.
- Actively participate in competitive intelligence roadmap discussions and prioritize analysis
- Create and deliver data outputs, customized reports, ad hoc analyses, and data visualizations to support new business pitches across the region.
- Assist in managing and prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining necessary process documents and procedures to ensure data accuracy.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and QA-focused approach to work
- Build strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders across the region.
- Should actively participate in managing client requirements, maintaining SLAs & SOWs documentation, and team deliverables.
- One should be self-motivated to opportunities to improve existing client relationships.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data processing, data engineering, ETL using SQL, and automation using programming languages like Python.
- Experience in BI technologies like Google Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI is a must, with intermediate-level skills.
- Hands-on experience in data integration and manipulation using SQL, BigQuery, and Python. Familiarity with GCP is an added plus.
- Knowledge of scripting and programming in JavaScript or Typescript is an added
- Familiarity with media research systems such as Netbase, Brandwatch, SimilarWeb, and SemRush is preferred.
- Advanced level user in Excel and PowerPoint: pivot tables, charts, v-lookups, and dashboard creation.
