We are hiring a Vietnam Country HR Manager to establish and lead the full HR function for a rapidly expanding international food retailer entering the Vietnam market. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on operational responsibilities across HR, compliance, recruitment, and employee experience.AThe Vietnam Country HR Manager will be responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving the HR function in Vietnam. Key responsibilities include:
  • Setting up HR policies, SOPs, Employee Handbook, and ensuring full compliance with Vietnam labor regulations
  • Leading manpower planning, recruitment, and talent acquisition for office, warehouse, and store operations
  • Managing payroll, benefits, social insurance, PIT, and statutory HR reporting
  • Overseeing performance management cycles, KPI monitoring, and employee evaluation processes
  • Supporting annual salary review, bonus proposals, and compensation benchmarking
  • Acting as HR business partner to all departments to resolve daily HR matters and support organizational growth
  • Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment
  • Leading training & development, onboarding programs, and capability-building initiatives
  • Maintaining HRIS, attendance systems, employee records, and HR reporting dashboards
  • Handling office administration, vendor coordination, assets, and compliance-related documentation
  • Collaborating closely with regional HR teams to ensure alignment of standards, processes, and reporting
  • Supporting new store openings and workforce expansion projects across Vietnam
Lead end‑to‑end HR setup for the company's Vietnam expansionDrive HR strategy for a fast-growing international food retail brandThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related fields
  • 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR or HR Manager role
  • Background in food retail, F&B, distribution, or related operational industries
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnam labor law, HR compliance, payroll processes, and HR operations
  • Proven ability to lead HR in a fast-paced, scaling, or new-market environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • High integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with regional teams
  • Proficiency in English and Vietnamese
