If the focus / content of the role is on Treasury, the Senior Tax Analyst conducts activities like recording of treasury data, treasury accounting and reporting, cash flow, cash flow planning, short and long term investment management.Job Description:The position is in charge of multi functions of finance and accounting as detailed below:TaxTax planning
- Manage tax planning opportunities including financial structure and dividend policy for the company to minimize the total tax load and (financing) costs related to tax payments
- Provide tax analysis as a tax senior level where/when required, for investment projects or business decisions making
- Understanding accounting records and financial statements in related to tax matters
- Preparing all tax reports and returns as well as coordinating and completing various tax returns by required deadlines, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and other applicable taxes
- Timely, accurately posting monthly tax transactions into ERP system
- Tax invoice administration and advice, including E-invoicing regulation
- Upload tax reports into internal group system (TCF)
- Tax Reporting correctly and timely in OneStream – Group Tax: timely & reliable quality
- Transfer prices: TP local files and related documents for proper documentation to defense transfer prices.
- Intercompany agreements: maintain to support transfer prices and intercompany payments.
- Reconciliation between tax records & accounting records: work out effectively with Accounting team.
- Reconciliation between company records and tax authority’s records
- Initiation and execution of activities needed to comply with local tax legislation and ensure payment and accounting of VAT, project taxes, corporate income tax to perform business activities without (fiscal) legal sanctions
- Analyses and communicates changes in tax regulations which impact on the company’s businesses, to continuously safeguard compliance of the company with these changing regulations and to give direction to tax issues which enhance the company’s interests
- Independently researches and analyses key tax issues to assist senior management positions in the Finance department
- Provides financial accounting team and relevant cross functions departments with technical tax advice/ update and assistance in tax matters as necessary
- Maintains a network of external contacts in the field of fiscal legislation and keeps up with developments, to ensure value-added partnerships for the company and to make maximal use of fiscal opportunities
- Being daily coordinators for tax reporting, tax finalization, tax audit process as well as tax related matters to relevant tax authorities
- Provides support or represent the company in such matters of litigation of fiscal claims, if necessary, supported by tax consultants, in order minimize legal and financial consequences of tax disputes
- Proactively advises Finance management, regarding all relevant fiscal matters for the company, to ensure tax awareness in decision making and to minimize financial risks
- Provides support to the tax input to the Reporting & Controlling function in line with company’s guidelines to draw up financial planning for the company
- Play the role of tax experts for the company in general
- Insurance contracting in line with Nutreco insurance guidance: Business interruption & damage insurance, products liability, cargo insurance,…etc.
- Contract management: advice on Nutreco contract templates/ standard terms and conditions. Contract review where when required.
- Pricing registration with Authority (Service of Finance)
- Support legal implementation for bad debt solution
- Maintain legal docs (business licenses, investment registration, legal entities registration) to group system (blueprint) and to compliance link system
- Assignments to relevant improvement projects
- Understanding basic treasury works and back up for the tasks where and when necessary
- Other tasks upon requests
- Recognized qualifications in Economics/ Accounting/Banking, with a Bachelor of Art, bachelor of college or equivalent
- At least 3-years experiences in tax function or finance & accounting sizable companies
- Technology savvy with experience in ERP System
- Good English and Vietnamese skills, both in writing and listening
- Computer skills: excellent Excel & Microsoft-words or Microsoft office in general
- Effective communication skills
- Mature, self-starter and reliable team player with professional behaviors
